β€œ Stay Inspired , never stop creating β€œ

It all started with a vision

Thank you for visiting my page , I look forward to sharing my artistry journey and showcasing my past and present pieces that I have created . Each of my pieces I have used a variety of mediums being acrylic paints , pencils , pens on either canvas or paper but are definitely not subject to that.

I always get asked how you came about your art pieces ? and it really comes down to three things one being inspiration which I do this by searching on the internet to gain inspo as well as simply going for a walk to clear my head to spark new ideas. The next thing is a vision , I generally have an idea of what I want to work on , it all begins with an idea and it expands from that .

Being a florist as well I love to incorporate florals in some of my work , I am then able to put them on candles as well as prints and greeting cards . This is a great way where I am able to combined my two favourite things art and floristry .

I am looking forward to seeing where my art journey leads and I hope you can follow and support it . Remembered my art prints and candles are available for purchase in the gift section or they can be found below .

The Samurai

By Rosalie De Francesco

Doing Martial since I was 7 , it is not just a sport or self defence but it is who I am as a person. This piece showcases a samurai who is fearless and honorable . He is able to do this by following the four oaths and the seven virtues associated with Zen Do Kai.

Four Oaths :

1. Never be late with respect to the way of the warrior

2. Be Useful to the lord

3. Be respectful to your parents

4. Get beyond love and grief , exist for the good man .

Seven virtues associated with Bushido:

1. Gi – Rectitude (Right Decisions)

2. Yu – Courage

3. Jin – Benevolence

4. Rei – Respect

5. Makoto – Honesty (Truth)

6. Meiyo – Honor

7. Chugi – Loyalty

Also found in the drawing are the 3 symbols given to recognise both male and females dedication towards Zen Do Kai. These symbols are , Ishoa a symbol of protection which is given to the female students to acknowledge their fierce determination in training , dedication and commitment to Zen Do Kai. Bushido which translate to β€œ The Way of the Warrior'' and is given to the male students who fiercely train to earn the honor and privilege of being awarded the cross; it is also used as a symbol of protection . Lastly is the Kyunnin Cross which is the rare administrator's cross it stands for exemplary business acumen demonstrated in pursuit of advancing the standing (which includes among other things, the standard) of Zen Do Kai and its ideals.

Mediums used is graphite pencils and fine liner.

Floral Stag

By Rosalie De Francesco

The drawing represents one of deer species being a red deer or otherwise known as a stag which is a male deer they have a reddish in colour during summer and grey-brown in winter . Growing up in a hunting family and always surrounded by bush and nature I thought it would be perfect to combined the both with this drawing by incorporating flowers and birds .

Medium used - Graphite pencils , fine liner , and prisma coloured pencils .

Good always out ways evil , Always

By Rosalie De Francesco

This painting has significant meaning to me and has a special place in my heart . I wanted to re create the michelangelo fallen angel painting as It represent good always out ways evil no matter what , and by incorporating the scales in my painting it represents that message well .

Through life I feel that we are always faced with evil and I know that I am guided and protected by a higher being.

Mediums used are acrylic paint oil based , Uni Posca paint pens.

The Native Kookaburra

Mediums used Prisma coloured pencils , fine liner , graphite pencils , Uni Posca paint pens.
